It was four in one function very meaningful and appreciable from Yathiraj fond journalist colleague and talented actor of small and big screen. Yathiraj for acting in his 100th film ‘Kolara’ organized a get together party and why it was appreciable because he honored the ‘Mentors’ of his life – school teachers, honored his wife Smt Lakshmi and honored the neglected profession of PRO’s of Kannada cinema.

There were two more additional programs. One is inauguration of Yethiraj website designed by another journalist Madhava Keerthy free of cost and cake cutting event organized by R Manohar www.chitratara.com editor, Madhu proprietor of a few bakeries, and television journalist VCN Manju and others.

Yathiraj felt extremely happy for the attendance of all his invitees. Instead of missing out someone to honor from the Kannada cinema industry, honoring PROs bridge to media and industry is my thought. Yathiraj 100 films event was anchored by Naveen a radio journalist.

Firstly it was honor to ‘Gurus’. Jayappa Sir, AN teacher, B Jaya (BJ) ,HRC (Choodaratna) teacher and a few others were honored by Indrajith Lankesh, K.H.Savitri, Smt Lakshmi did the honors.

It was Jayappa Sir and Nirmala (AN ) miss outlined the caliber of Yathiraj in his younger days. Ya means Yashassu, Ti means tilavalike and Raja means Raja with glory was observation of Jayappa who taught him in 7th standard, his book on Dr Rajakumar showed it to my students made me feel proud. I am fortunate to get this kind of student he said.

When Yathiraj was speaking good Kannada and wishing us in variety we thought he is different. He is not stagnant water but flowing water is my assessment because of ‘Kudure Motte’ play he played with all difficulties. Yathiraj class mate Varalakshmi now teacher was present at the event.

Yathiraj sister Komala, in laws Srinivas and Leelavathi were present do honors when Yathiraj invited his wife of 20 long years Smt Lakshmi to receive honor. There is nothing like ‘Sashisuvudu’. It is part and parcel of life stated very shy lady Smt Lakshmi on this occasion.

PRO’s Nagendra, Sudhindra Venkatesh, Vijayakumar, Kallesh and Harish were felicitated on this occasion. A bouquet was given to DG Vasudev, Deepak, Babu PROs of Kannada cinema.

Yathiraja is a man with good heart and never thought he would hit century so early. He does not show disparity in his thoughts and values friendship stated PRO Nagendra. Yathiraj century is a good celebration time. He tells ‘En Guru’ in his address and not tell like he was addressing in his school days stated Sudhindra Venkatesh – DG Venkatesh.

Yethiraj.com was inaugurated by Indrajith Lankesh on this occasion. It was cake cutting celebration and a memorable party from Yathiraj.

Let him hit double century and celebrate in much bigger way.
